To God, Jesus, in the Spirit, and the world
who are called to kingdom and community growth and are passionate about seeing people get to know Jesus personally, being filled with the Holy Spirit and making a difference by demonstrating kingdom truth and kingdom reality in their everyday lives. We are equally passionate about real,God focussed, Jesus centred, relevant worship and about service to our community and the wider world. Evangelism, discipleship, justice and mercy are all part of our walk together. We are far from a perfect church so you'll feel right at home with us. We are all trying, in His strength and by His grace, to be the people He has called us to be, to live the lives He has equipped us to live and to do it within a supportive and encouraging environment...

One of the areas to which we believe God has called us is that of being a Kingdom resource to His people and this site is one of the elements in that calling. Under the 'resources' tab on the top menu there are a number of different sections covering personal spiritual development, worship and bible teaching, to name just a few. We are involved in broadcasting Christian music (105.9 Bishop FM, Sundays, 1 - 3pm and the previous weeks programme is repeated 10pm - midnight ) are just beginning an 'equipping outreach' into Weardale called Daletime. We are excited about this year (we're excited about every year).... and don't miss our section on 'justice' - something which occupies the heart of God very deeply and about which we are passionate.
As a church we are working through the 'Essential Jesus' series. Find out more via the links.
